Sara Blake

Sara Blake Alton was just 23 years old when she made the trek from her hometown of Charlottesville, VA to Los Angeles, CA in 2018. Coming from the troubled past of growing up as a trans girl in the deep south filled with trauma, loss, and heartbreak; Sara decided to pour her emotions into music. She formed the Alternative Rock band Animal Sun, whose name was in dedication to her late friend James Sun. The project quickly gained attention thanks to the hit ‘girl in blue’ that detailed her experiences with said trauma. Since her move to LA, she has completed 8 national tours, produced, directed and starred in 12 music videos, achieved 20 million streams on Spotify alone, braved countless high profile interviews on the red carpet, and most recently won “Rock/Pop Song of the Year” at the HIMAs (Hollywood Independent Music Awards) for 2023. After her latest achievement, Blake has since decided to make the move into acting since filmmaking has always been the end goal. With high energy, an unprecedented work ethic, and a youthful appearance; the young actress who essentially grew up in front of a camera is ready to make her mark.
